No account of Savannah, Georgia would be complete without Forsyth Park.
Why should this one be any different?

We had a picnic, played on the playground, played in the splash fountain,
fed the birds, and perspired a great deal.

Huey's on the River...
Got Beignets?

looking for dolphins....

We thought we saw a manatee too.  It would be a first sighting according to the captain.

Then we saw this >

I said, "Girls, this is Fort Pulaski" as the captain was saying, "This is Fort Jackson".
Hey, all forts look alike, right?

We also went to the Savannah National Wildlife Preserve, which deserves its own page.

Wormsloe Plantation

While my children were visiting, we went to Wormsloe Plantation.
The House is gone, but the walk is beautiful.
